EpicTV has announced a new partnership with drone manufacturer, DJI, who will become the preferred aerial partner to the online action and adventure sports channel.
DJI has recently released the DJI Phantom 3, which the manufacturer claims is the world’s smartest drone.
As part of the deal, the vast majority of aerial shots captured by EpicTV staff and independent filmmakers will be shot using DJI drones. This will be backed by free support and training for all EpicTV staff.
Alongside this, DJI will also be launching its own branded video channel on the platform. From here, content will be distributed through the EpicTV partner network that includes the likes of the USA Today, the Daily Telegraph, Fox Sports and others. The products that feature on this channel are then stocked on the EpicTV Shop, allowing consumers the opportunity to directly purchase these items.
Martin Brandenburg, marketing director at DJI Europe said: “We are very pleased to start this new marketing initiative with EpicTV who has been a partner of ours since 2014 in promoting and selling our range of DJI products through their online shop. This partnership is a step forward in DJI supporting retailers and video production companies to make the most of our state-of-the-art technology and video recording products. We are very much looking forward to growing our relationship with EpicTV in the years to come.”
Jean-Mael Gineste, head of partnerships at EpicTV added: “We are delighted to welcome on board DJI as one of our new partners. EpicTV is always striving for delivering the best outdoor and adventure stories and video content to the world. This is made possible by working with the best brands on the market such as DJI, to enhance our production quality and provide expertise and support to our EpicTV team.”
