Epictv Joins Asics To Beat The Sun

EpicTV is to distribute digital content for Beat the Sun, an endurance event run by sportswear brand ASICS.

Beat the Sun is to be held on 21st June, the longest day of the year, and will see five continental teams compete to be the first to round the circumference of Mont Blanc.

Each team has from sunrise to sunset, 15 hours, 41 minutes and 35 seconds, to cover the 150km between six team members, three experts and three amateurs. 

EpicTV will distribute content from the challenge across its extensive digital network, reaching viewers through the channel’s desktop and mobile sites, sport website  and online news partners, airlines and a number of other digital platforms including Spotify. 

Michael Brabant, ASICS Europe brand manager, said: “We are delighted to start this digital distribution partnership with EpicTV around Beat the Sun.

“This incredible challenge is a huge part of our year, and we’re really excited to have a leading adventure and outdoor sports platform distributing and promoting it to their digital audience.”

A documentary about Beat the Sun, to be broadcast on TV channels globally later in the year, is being produced by Sunset+Vine, the award-winning TV sports production and media company.
