ESPN and Sky Sports have revealed their initial fixtures for the start of the new Barclays Premier League season.
ESPN start with defending champions Chelsea as they take on newly promoted West Bromwich Albion.
Sky will show the season opener between Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City on 14th August.
August will see ESPN show Championship winners Newcastle United as they host Martin O’Neill’s Aston Villa and West Ham United’s visit to Manchester United.
This season, ESPN will also operate seven more cameras to increase its total match-day camera allocation to 23.
From the 2010/11 season, the sports broadcaster will also start offering exclusive mobile highlights to all 380 Premier League games under a three-season deal.
However, ESPN will this year see its allocation drop to 23 games as Sky Sports holds five of the six available packs for the next three seasons.
The first Ford Super Sunday of the season on Sky will be Liverpool against Arsenal and Sky will show every team, including all three newly-promoted clubs, at least once by the beginning of November.
Sky will show every match in HD and selected live matches will be broadcast in 3D.
ESPN has added 11 pre-season friendlies to its coverage featuring Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City, Newcastle and Rangers.
