IMG’s inflight and in-ship sports network Sport 24 has acquired broadcast rights to the UEFA Euro 2024 men’s football championships.

Under the agreement, Sport 24 and Sport 24 Extra will air more than 50 games from the competition, which takes place in Germany from 14th June to 14th July.

The deal marks the third successive men’s Euro championships to broadcast on the IMG-owned channel.

Richard Wise, SVP of Content and Channels for IMG’s media business, said, “The UEFA Euro has delivered some of the most exciting international football action in recent years, with millions of fans around the world tuning in for every game.

“We are delighted to strengthen our partnership with UEFA and ensure fans can enjoy seamless live coverage of the tournament even while travelling.”

Sport 24’s expansive football rights portfolio also includes the Premier League, the UEFA Champions League and Europa League, and the AFC Asian Cup.

The channel’s Euro 2024 coverage will be produced at IMG Studios at Stockley Park, Uxbridge, and will then distributed to the network of partners that comprises Etihad Airways, Emirates, Turkish Airlines, MSC Cruises, Carnival Cruise Line, Princess Cruises, Royal Caribbean Cruises, and Silversea.
