Eurosport Extends Superbikes Deal

Pan-regional broadcaster Eurosport has extended its media rights for the FIM Superbike World Championship (SBK) in a new three-year deal.
The new contract runs for the 2010, 2011 and 2012 seasons, brokered by the Infront agency who sell the rights on behalf of SBK.
The deal covers all of Eurosport’s 59 territories, and will see 24 out of 26 races per season shown live or delayed on either Eurosport 1 or Eurosport 2.
The tie-up also covers support series’ the FIM Supersport World Championship and FIM Superstock 1000 Cup.
The agreement goes beyond the standard broadcast rights including access to on-demand, catch-up and mobile rights.
