Everton FC has become the first Premier League club to launch a branded browser, which will reward fans with credits that can be redeemed in their online store, if fans spend money with online retail partners.
The browser is aimed at giving supporters a shopping experience that has added benefits. The browser can be used across mobile and desktop devices and will earn Everton credit from retailers such as Amazon, John Lewis or Argos – with no extra cost.
The rewards system encourages users to return and build up their credits to eventually have a balance that will equal the value of club merchandise or tickets and a percentage of spends will also be donated to the club’s charity, Everton in the Community.
Supporters will also get the opportunity to win money can’t buy prizes, with their chance of winning increasing when they share with friends and via social media.
