Everton Stars Call Self-isolating Fans On Mother’s Day
Everton’s Duncan Ferguson and Moise Kean surprised some unsuspecting fans on Mother’s Day as part of the club’s Blue Family campaign.
Two Evertonians who are self-isolating throughout the coronavirus pandemic due to underlying health conditions received calls.

Ferguson, meanwhile, called Jan, an Everton fan who is currently at home in palliative care and terminally ill. With her son and daughter unable to visit her on Mother’s Day due to her self-isolation, the club’s assistant manager (and Jan’s second-favourite Scot…) called to check in on her.
Kean talked about his close relationship with his own mother when he first signed for Everton and the club says he was keen to do a call on mother’s day. He spoke to Jayne O’Toole, a Season Ticket Member who is in remission from cancer and self isolating to protect her immune system.

She is self isolating due to being in remission, so this was a huge boast.
