Extreme E has renewed its sustainability partnership with carbon project developer ALLCOT.

The extension sees the all-electric motor racing series retain ALLCOT as its official environmental contribution partner for the championship’s fourth season.

Extreme E first partnered with the sustainable innovation specialist for the series’ inaugural campaign in 2021, and later extended the original deal in 2022 and 2023.

The purpose-driven partnership aligns with the series’ commitment to reaching carbon net zero emissions, and to incite long-term change with regards to sustainability.

Last year, Extreme E and ALLCOT launched the St. Helena Active Offsetting Pilot Programme, which aims to reduce carbon emissions in real time at the series’ floating St. Helena headquarters.

Ali Russell, Managing Director of Extreme E, said, “We are excited that our long-term sustainability partner ALLCOT have extended their collaboration with us once again.

“We have achieved a lot together in the last three seasons including advancing the way we address emissions and driving sustainable practices for business.”

The latest renewal sees Extreme E double down on its commitment to sustainability, after recently extending professional services giant EY as its official sustainability partner’ last month.
