With exactly one year to go until the final of next year’s competition, Rugby World Cup Limited has unveiled EY as the official business advisor of the 2015 edition in England.
As an official tournament supplier, the professional service firm will provide a range of services including tax and accounting to the event’s organisers.
The company joins a growing list of commercial partners for the event following the appointments of DHL, Emirates and Mastercard earlier this year.
RWCL chairman Bernard Lapasset said: ‘We are delighted to welcome EY as an official tournament supplier for Rugby World Cup 2015. The appointment of a global leader in the accountancy, tax and advisory sector, is critical to the delivery of an event, which is now firmly established as one of the biggest and most popular in the world.’
‘We look forward to collaborating with EY to deliver a record-breaking and special Rugby World Cup on and off the field that will inspire and engage new audiences and participants and drive the growth of Rugby worldwide.’
