The FA has launched its new ‘Football’s Staying Home’ campaign to encourage mental and physical wellbeing during the coronavirus pandemic.

With the aim of ‘informing, entertaining and empowering’ its millions of fans and followers, The FA’s campaign launched across England’s digital channels. With millions isolated in their own homes, Football’s Staying Home content will bring together past and present players as well as experts from St. George’s Park to encourage the nation, while content will be supported across all of The FA’s brands and channels, including The Bootroom and The FA’s coaching and education hub, which will feature articles from experts.

In addition, the governing body for football in England says it will broadcast classic Emirates FA Cup and Barclays FA Women’s Super League matches back-to-back across its social channels and The FA Player every Sunday afternoon to fill the live football void.

Fans, players, parents, teams, leagues and County FAs have all been encouraged to get behind the campaign by creating their own content and using the #FootballsStayingHome hashtag.

Kicking off the series are England captains Harry Kane and Steph Houghton, who’ve outlined what fans can expect from us to help them watch, play and learn in the coming weeks:
