The FA Mark St George’s Day With Tribute To Health Workers

To mark St George’s Day, The FA has linked up with poet Hussain Manawer to produce a new spot celebrating the country and its football teams, as well as its NHS workers and staff.

This is England features a montage of the country’s men’s and women’s teams interspersed with images and video of medical workers and other frontline staff during the coronavirus crisis.

The spot shows the country’s response to the period of lockdown set to music and to Manawer’s poetry read aloud by the author himself.
