The Football Association has announced that England’s first international game
to be played at the new Wembley Stadium will be against Brazil on 1st June.

The new £757m stadium is set to stage this year’s FA Cup Final as its
official opening after successfully achieving its safety certificate from Brent
council following the completion of two test events last month.

The Brazil game will be the England football team’s first competitive game at
Wembley for seven years.

The FA also announced that, from next year, both semi-finals and the final of
the FA Cup will be held at the new stadium.
The new stadium has a capacity of
80,000.
