Little Dot Studios, an online video distribution and production company, has announced a new partnership with The FA, the governing body for English football.
The relationship will see Little Dot Studios provide channel and video management services across The FA’s range of social channels, in order to grow the FA’s presence and audiences on YouTube, strengthening its digital identity, and achieving stronger engagement on social platforms.
The FA’s video output will continue to cover competitions and England teams including the Lionesses and men’s seniors, and the Emirates FA Cup, with videos distributed across all social platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Little Dot will provide services including live video editing, social video creation, channel management and data insights, making use of the FA’s vast archive of international and Emirates FA Cup games.
The work with The FA adds to Little Dot Studios’ growing portfolio of sports partners, including FIA Formula E, the England & Wales Cricket Board, a first-of-its-kind YouTube pay-per-view livestream of the WBO World Heavyweight Boxing contest with Hennessy Sports in September, and its production and channel work with Sir Mo Farah.
Wayne Davison, managing director, content acquisitions and distribution of Little Dot Studios said: “To be working with such a prestigious organisation as The FA, alongside their fantastic digital team, is an amazing opportunity for Little Dot Studios. The next 12 months is all about building on the success of The FA’s existing social channels with innovative video distribution and production methods, to engage with the passionate fan-base for the various FA competitions and all of the England women and men’s national teams. And all of that alongside the buildup to the 2018 World Cup.”
Damien Cullen, senior video manager at The FA added: “We have been at the forefront of engaging fans through social media for many years and are always looking for new and innovative ways to ensure we are fulfilling this. We believe that Little Dot Studios, with their unique blend of data-driven insights and creative instincts, is the right partner to enable us to push this forward even more.”
