FA Snaps Up Lucozade Sport Deal

Lucozade Sport has signed a major new sponsorship deal with The Football
Association to become the official sports drink and nutrition supplier of all
the England football teams.

The agreement sees Lucozade Sport providing their range of sports nutrition
products and services to the FA’s 23 national teams, from the men’s and women’s
senior teams to the youth and disability squads.

The three-year relationship which runs to and through the FIFA World Cup 2010
in South Africa, also sees Lucozade Sport commit to supporting The FA’s ongoing
mission to develop the game at all levels.

The deal with the GlaxoSmithKline-owned brand will also provide The FA with
all the research coming out of the Lucozade Sport Science Academy (LSSA) which
works closely with elite athletes and sports associations to increase its
knowledge of the impact of nutrition on sporting performance.
