Ferrari Goes Blue For Alonso’s Return

Ferrari has backed its driver Fernando Alonso’s return to Spain at the Spanish Grand Prix by launching a special blue t-shirt for his fans.

A merchandising agreement has been reached between Ferrari and Alonso for blue shirts bearing the driver’s signature, the Ferrari prancing horse motif and cross of Asturias – the region that Alonso comes from.

Asked how many t-shirts had been sold so far, Alonso shrugged his shoulders and grinned: ‘Ask me on Sunday.’

The marketing ploy is the first time Ferrari has diverted away from its traditional racing red colour.
