FIFA has collaborated with Google to launch a range of online features to help supporters keep track of the World Cup in South Africa.

The football governing body has partnered with the internet search engine to gain more hits on its FIFA.com website.

Google has set up a FIFA.com Chrome extension to get a live feed of FIFA World Cup results, news and match statistics.

A search for ‘world cup’ will bring up live scores, latest results and match schedules supplied by FIFA.com at the top of the search results.

Google is also offering matches to be streamed to the web-surfers home page with the iGoogle Gadget.
