According to new Home Office figures, football-related arrests in the UK have fallen by 10% over the last season.??

There were 3,391 arrests involving fans in England and Wales in the 2009/10 season – falling 395 from the previous season.??

There were no arrests at 70% of games during the season and no English or Welsh fans were arrested at the World Cup in South Africa.

That number comes as a huge boost after the infamous day in Euro 2000 where 950 were arrested in a single day in Belgium.??

The Premier League club with the most football banning orders in place is Newcastle United with 105 followed by West Ham with 91 and Wolves with 86.

Meanwhile, Yeovil Town in League One along with Accrington Stanley and Stevenage in League Two were the only clubs without a single banning order.
