Formula 1 has announced a partnership with Glenmorangie, naming the Highland single malt Scotch whisky as its official whisky partner.

The alliance is part of a decade-long collaboration forged between Glenmorangie’s parent company LVMH and Formula 1.

The partnership was unveiled by Hollywood icon Harrison Ford, who stars in Glenmorangie’s brand campaign, ‘Once Upon a Time in Scotland’. Ford featured in a new short film, toasting the collaboration, which coincides with F1’s 75th anniversary, simply saying: “Nice”.\

Glenmorangie will celebrate the collaboration trackside at the FORMULA 1 QATAR AIRWAYS BRITISH GRAND PRIX 2025 at Silverstone. Fans will be invited to enjoy a Glenmorangie experience, showcasing cocktails and the Eagle Speedster Jaguar E-Type car used by Harrison Ford in the whisky’s brand film. Racegoers will be able to recreate a moment from the film by taking a seat in the classic car.

The collaboration unites two entities dedicated to excellence and steeped in heritage. For more than 180 years, Glenmorangie has been creating whisky, distilling its spirit in Scotland’s tallest stills and known for its pursuit of excellence. F1 this year celebrates 75 years.

Emily Prazer, Chief Commercial Officer at Formula 1, said, “As part of our 10-year deal with LVMH, we are delighted to welcome Glenmorangie from the Moët Hennessy Maisons collection as the Official Whisky of Formula 1.

With our mutual respect for tradition, it is absolutely fitting that we are launching our collaboration at the Formula 1 British Grand Prix at Silverstone – the circuit that hosted our first race 75 years ago – and from there around the world for many years to come.”
