Formula E has appointed M+C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment to lead its global brand and corporate communications on a six-figure retainer.

The partnership follows a competitive pitch process and covers corporate, sustainability and cultural communications across international markets, with a particular focus on the United Kingdom and the United States.

M+C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment will work alongside Formula E’s local agency network in regional race markets to enhance brand visibility and audience engagement. The agency, which has offices in London and operates within the M&C Saatchi Group, will begin activity ahead of Formula E’s 13th season.

Formula E, founded in 2014, is sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) and serves as the world’s first all-electric single-seater motorsport championship. The series features 18 races across major global cities, including London, where the ExCeL London circuit hosts the season finale.

Ellie Norman, Chief Marketing Officer, Formula E, said, “We’re thrilled to name M+C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment as our global brand and corporate communications agency. Their expertise and deep cultural insight will be key as we craft the stories that shape the future of Formula E and deliver on our mission to become the defining motorsport for youth culture.”

Laura Coller, UK CEO, M+C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment, said, “Formula E is a true challenger with an incredible history of innovation in tech and sustainability. Our challenge is to retell that story in a way that connects culturally and wins young fans, while building saliency with existing ones. We’re delighted to partner with them on the journey into what promises to be their biggest season yet.”
