Formula E has selected communications specialist Soapbox to serve as its UK PR agency.

As per the new agreement, Soapbox will work with the all-electric racing championship to lead a cross-cultural PR campaign.

The agency will aim to raise awareness of Formula E throughout its 11th season, and will help promote the London E-Prix, which will take place next July.

Soapbox’s expansive partnership portfolio includes Matchroom Boxing, Anthony Joshua, Eddie Hearn, Under Armour, Jamie Chadwick, the Professional Darts Corporation and Luke Littler.

The company also serves as a partner of the FEVO Sport Industry Awards.

Rowan Wilkinson, Managing Partner at Soapbox, said, “Motorsport is in our blood as an agency and we’ve been huge fans of FE since its inception.

It’s an incredibly exciting time for the series following massive audience growth over the last twelve months and with the unveiling of its fastest car yet we can’t wait to get started and make some real noise around Season 11.”

“This win caps off the agency’s best year to date with record financial performance and substantial and continuous growth across the business.”
