formula E Ties Up Cable Partner

Formula E has partnered with North American wire and cable producer Southwire.


The strategic collaboration will run across the remainder of Season 9 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, as Southwire becomes the official wire and cable provider to the all-electric motor racing series.

Season 9 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship continues with Round 6 in São Paulo on 25th March, the first time the series has raced in Brazil. This follows the debut of the GEN3 race car – ‘the fastest, lightest, most powerful and efficient electric race car ever built’ – in Mexico City, followed by a double-header in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia, and races in Hyderabad, India and Cape Town, South Africa – both new host cities.
