Top-level international sport will return to the UK with astonishing regularity, with the biggest and best stars from both codes of international rugby and the finest athletes from across the Commonwealth – and later the entire world – set to arrive on these shores over the course of the next four years.

  • There are 8 days to go until the Rugby League World Cup kicks off with a double-header in Cardiff on 26th October.
  • There are 278 days to go until the Opening Ceremony of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.
  • There are 699 days to go until the Rugby World Cup 2015 kicks off in England.
  • There are 1,387 days to go until the World Athletics Championships 2017 in London.

On 6th November 2013, the Nolan Partners Sport Industry Breakfast Club will see the leading figureheads of these competitions share a unique stage at Bloomberg’s stunning headquarters in London.

Brian Barwick, Chairman of the Rugby Football League and former CEO of the FA; David Grevemberg, CEO of Glasgow 2014; Debbie Jevans, CEO of England Rugby 2015 and former Director of Sport for London 2012; and Ed Warner, Chairman of UK Athletics, will all take the stage to discuss the wealth of sporting spectacles coming to the country, and their impact on the UK sport industry.
