UK football magazine FourFourTwo has struck an innovative marketing agreement in
conjunction with video game manufacturer EA Sports which will see them sponsor
the kit of one player from each of the 72 teams in the Football League.

Throughout the season, the magazine will follow the fortunes of each player
through the ups and downs of the season, including regular updates on the
publication’s official website.

At the end of the season the kits of all 72 players will be auctioned off for
charity.

Sports marketing agency Threepipe has been appointed to promote the campaign
to the club and local media of all 72 teams, generating online and print media
coverage to make fans aware of the project and FourFourTwo’s involvement,
supported by EA Sports.
