Sports nutrition company, MSC Nutrition has signed boxing world champion Carl Frampton as its latest brand ambassador.

The 29-year-old from Northern Ireland will be joining a catalogue of ambassadors represented by the nutrition brand, including rugby player, Sam Warburton.

Frampton said: “As an athlete it’s crucial that I choose the right supplement provider to ensure that I am performing at my best possible levels and reaching all the goals that I’m setting for myself. This is particularly important to me as I move into the featherweight division to compete and take another step up in my career.

“It’s vital that I work with a brand that I can trust and will provide me with top quality, tested supplements to keep me at peak performance and MSC Nutrition meets all my needs perfectly.  I appreciate the support that MSC has given me so far- they go above and beyond with personal touches and all of my supplements are tailored to my exact needs. I am looking forward to representing the brand and working closely with its team and athletes.”

Nicky Edmonds, director of MSC Nutrition added: “We are very proud to have another fantastic athlete like Carl on board alongside our other high performance athletes. After undergoing a thorough screening process with our in-house nutritionist where we assessed Carl’s nutritional requirements, we were able to supply him with a tailored nutrition and supplementation plan specific to his needs to aid his boxing performance and his overall wellbeing.

“Our products have been researched and developed through proven scientific methods and we invest in Informed Sport testing to make sure that our supplements are of the highest possible quality for all. We work within the strict testing parameters of Informed Sport and LGC Laboratories to ensure athlete safety and full transparency. All our products are developed using only the highest grade raw materials, which provides athletes such as Carl and others the confidence they are working with a reputable sports nutrition brand.”

This deal is announced as Frampton prepares to fight Leo Santa Cruz for the WBA Super Featherweight title on Saturday 30th July at the Barclays Center in New York.
