Fulham FC has announced a new long-term kit supply deal with adidas, who return to the London club for a third spell, after previously working together between 1977-81 and 1997-2003.
The deal will see adidas, who also supplies kits to fellow London-based Premier League sides Chelsea and West Ham United, replace Italian brand Kappa as the team’s official technical kit supplier.
The German apparel giant will take over this summer, after the Cottagers’ signed off their season in style with a 3-0 thrashing at Swansea to secure a 12th place finish.
Along with Fulham, Chelsea and West Ham, adidas also has kit deals with a number of other Premier League sides, as well as UEFA Champions League finalists Bayern Munich.
Fulham chief executive Alistair Mackintosh said: ‘adidas has a fantastic football heritage and tradition and I know that we will work well together. The synergy between the two organisations has led to a partnership that promises both brands a platform on which to achieve success.’
‘We are looking forward to producing a range of products that the fans will be proud to wear and featuring adidas technologies such as ClimaCool and ClimaLite.’
adidas senior manager commercial clubs, Steve Holland, added: ‘Fulham is a very welcome partner to adidas’ strong portfolio of football clubs both globally and in the UK. We share a successful history together and look forward to an exciting, long and rewarding future partnership.’
