FA Premier League club Fulham has become the latest addition to Nike’s lengthy
sponsorship portfolio after striking a lucrative new kit deal with the sports
goods giant.
Fulham unveiled a new four-year deal with Nike which will see the brand
supply the club with all training and playing apparel until 2011.
The contract, done in conjunction with Nike’s team sports partner Just Sport,
is the biggest kit supplier deal in the club’s history.
Nike has designed a kit for the 2007/08 season which will become available to
fans in July.
The Nike deal is a further boost to Fulham’s revenues following on from the
announcement earlier this month of a lucrative shirt sponsorship deal signed
with LG which replaces existing sponsor Pipex from the start of next season.
Nike replaces Airness as Fulham’s kit sponsor – the club joining the likes of
Manchester United and Arsenal on the brand’s list of FA Premier League teams
with which it holds kit deals.
