Fuse Sport + Entertainment, part of Omnicom Media Group UK, has promoted Lou Johnson to managing director, EMEA.
The former deputy MD will report to Philippa Brown, the chief executive of Omnicom Media Group UK. As MD, Lou will lead the continued growth of Fuse Sport + Entertainment both in the UK and across the EMEA region.
Since joining Fuse Sport + Entertainment in 2010, Johnson has overseen growth, with the UK team growing from eight to 104. The agency creates partnerships and experiences for brands, working with colleagues across Omnicom Media Group UK to deliver integrated solutions for clients.
During 2016 Fuse Sport + Entertainment helped Nissan GB activate its British Olympic Association & British Paralympic Association partnerships, led Carlsberg’s ‘Probably the best’ UEFA Euro 2016 activation and secured and activated Dacia’s first ever UK sponsorship deal, with the Rugby Football League amongst other campaigns.
