Game Golf has announced the launch of Game Golf Live, a new wearable, real-time shot tracker for both iOS and Android smartphone platforms.
The Game Golf classic product – a wearable device and software platform – was launched in 2014, tracking performance data.
The launch of Game Golf Live now aims to help golfers connect their game with PGA Professionals and their friends by wearing a device on their wrists to capture data during a round.
The wearable uses GPS motion sensors and the unit automatically records the course, location on the hole, club used, distance and accuracy, recording in real-time and displayed on your phone.
Game Golf Live incorporates a number of enhanced features such as new strokes gained data offering metrics off the tee, on approach shots, during the short game and for putting.
Game Golf has also added a TIPS section to interpret the data and help pinpoint improvement opportunities.
Speaking ahead of the launch, Game Golf CEO John McGuire stated: “The introduction of our Classic product was a game-changing moment for the industry and Game Golf Live is set to raise the bar yet again. Our mission has always been a simple one, to increase the playing enjoyment of all golfers by helping them to understand more about their game. We’re excited to see how Game Golf Live’s real-time data collection will help users to do this and take their game to the next level whilst still being a seamless part of their golfing experience.”
