Gigaset Becomes Official Partner Of Ascot

The Gigaset Group has agreed a new deal with Ascot Racecourse to become the official partner of the racecourse, as well as the royal meeting in June.

As a premier partner of Ascot Racecourse, the telecommunications and consumer electronics brand will feature throughout Ascot’s flat and jump racing seasons, including at the Royal Ascot event.

Gigaset also becomes the venue’s official consumer electronics partner with immediate effect.

The partnership between Ascot Racecourse Limited and Gigaset will initially run for a five year period until the end of 2019.

Gigaset’s CEO Charles Fränkl said of the agreement: “Gigaset is very proud to be official partner of Ascot and Royal Ascot. This partnership heralds a new phase in Gigaset history as we move to develop further smart product technologies, including mobile devices and smartphones.

“Ascot and Gigaset have many things in common such as the way both organisations blend tradition with modernity and demonstrate a shared passion for quality and style. This partnership will help us to further raise awareness of our brand and bring our message – ‘Wherever you go’ – to life.”

The official partnership will see the Gigaset brand featured at Ascot Racecourse throughout the year, including at Royal Ascot where a representative of Gigaset will present a trophy to the connections of one of the winning horses.

Gigaset is also sponsoring two races at additional meetings later this year: the Gigaset International Handicap Stakes to be held on 25th July, and the Cumberland Lodge Stakes to be held on 3rd October.
