Glamorgan County Cricket Club has partnered with Yellow Panther to redesign its official website and enhance the club’s digital experience for fans across Wales.

The collaboration has included a full redesign of Glamorgan Cricket’s digital platform, currently in its discovery phase, to deliver a fully responsive website for desktop and mobile. The platform has been built to support live match updates, ticketing, membership access, and behind-the-scenes content, while also highlighting Sophia Gardens as a conference and events venue.

Yellow Panther has previously worked with Leicestershire, Somerset, and Gloucestershire County Cricket Clubs, and its experience in sport and digital innovation has been applied to the Glamorgan project.

The new platform has been planned in two phases, with Phase 1 focusing on core matchday functionality and Phase 2 introducing additional features to enhance fan engagement and storytelling.

Glamorgan Cricket, founded in 1888 and based at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff, has competed in the County Championship, One-Day Cup, and T20 Blast. The club is the only Welsh team in the English first-class cricket structure and plays a central role in developing cricket in Wales.

Yellow Panther has used its expertise in digital products, content management systems, and fan-focused interfaces to build the new platform, supporting Glamorgan Cricket’s goal of providing a modern, accessible digital experience for supporters and commercial partners alike. Yellow Panther is also a member of Sport Industry Group.

Stuart Cope, Co-Founder at Yellow Panther, said, “We’re proud to be partnering with Glamorgan Cricket, a club with a rich legacy and a bold vision for the future of Welsh sport. Our goal is simple: build a digital experience that’s as sharp, fast, and passionate as the fans who follow them.

“From live updates to behind-the-scenes content, we’re creating a platform that brings supporters closer to the action, wherever they are. It’s been a brilliant collaboration so far, and we can’t wait to see the new platform come to life.”

Ed Rice, Head of Commercial at Glamorgan County Cricket Club said, “We’re excited to work with Yellow Panther in the build of a new digital home for Glamorgan Cricket and Sophia Gardens. Having met a number of respected vendors, we were won over by their technical expertise in delivering responsive, user focused platforms.

“We feel Yellow Panther are the perfect choice to help us accomplish this and look forward to sharing results soon.
