Glamorgan Cricket has extended a partnership with visual technology provider Bendac Group for three years.

Under the expanded deal, Bendac will sponsor the sleeve on the LV= County Championship, Vitality Blast and Royal London Cup shirts until at least the end of the 2024 season.

The group’s brand will also feature at Sophia Gardens on both pitch-facing and crowd-facing advertising boards.

Last season, Bendac served as Glamorgan’s AV partner and sponsored the left collar of the Vitality Blast kit whilst featuring on both sides of the Royal London Cup cap.

Last year, Bendac led the design, manufacture and installation of three state-of the-art screens at Sophia Gardens.

Glamorgan’s Head of Commercial, Huw Warren, said that Bendac’s screen installation project in 2021 had “created a fantastic matchday experience at Sophia Gardens for our fans”.

He said, “Bendac Group are industry leaders in their field with a strong background in sport and cricket which makes them ideal sponsors of the club, while sponsoring a pan-Wales sports team will provide them with brand exposure and recognition throughout the country, as well as the wider sports industry which will help them achieve their business goals.”

Bendac has also worked alongside several teams such as Premier League club Chelsea FC and Premiership Rugby outfit Bath Rugby.

David Da Costa, Bendac CEO, highlighted the close proximity of his company’s headquarters near Bath with Sophia Gardens in Cardiff, and added, “We also retain strong family roots and ties in Cardiff, which makes it a very personal as well as commercial decision to invest in what we see as a family culture and community values at Glamorgan.”
