London-based agency, Goat, has won Formula E’s season-long global influencer brief.

According to Formula E, a number of agencies, both digital and influencer specific were invited to take part in the pitch process ahead of Season 4.

Goat, who won Young Agency of the Year at this year’s BT Sport Industry Awards, were established in 2015 and their clients include New Look, Google, The FA and Pernod-Ricard.

Formula E has engaged Goat to amplify their existing video content as well as engage a mix of global influencers and localised race-by-race influencers who will be posting in local language across the season.

The campaign kicked off this December in Hong Kong with the next event being held in Marrakech in January 2018. The campaign will run until the end of the season, the final race taking place in Montreal on July 29th 2018.

Goat director Nick Cooke said: “We’re incredibly excited to launch an influencer marketing campaign with Formula E for their global championship series. We’re looking forward to working with such a forward-thinking and innovative brand like Formula E.”

Ben Padley, marketing & brand director at Formula E, said: “I’m pleased to welcome Goat as part of the extended Formula E family for season four. We’re actively taking Formula E to a wider audience and showcasing the series as the most exciting and innovative sport on offer today. Working with Goat will help us achieve our objectives of bringing fans closer to Formula E – utilising their expertise and reach with key influencers worldwide. We saw this already at the first race in Hong Kong!”
