Goodwood Hires Pitch For Festival

Goodwood Racecourse has appointed sports communications agency Pitch to raise awareness of the Glorious Goodwood upcoming horse racing Festival, running between 28th July and 1st August.


Pitch has been engaged to increase the level of media exposure the festival receives in key sport and lifestyle media. The agency has also been tasked to help boost the number of race goers attending the Tuesday and Wednesday of the festival.


One key initiative Pitch will undertake is the delivery of Sporting Greats Day on Tuesday 28th July; a day celebrating sporting greatness, attended by top British sports stars.


The day will include a lunch for national media hosted by Lord March and directors of Goodwood, featuring a high profile guest speaker.


The London-based agency, which was formed in 2002 with the backing of Matthew Freud, represents clients including Chelsea FC, the NBA and Visit London.
