Goodwood has announced Italian jewellery brand Buccellati as the new official jewellery partner of Goodwood Racecourse.
The partnership began this week at the Qatar Goodwood Festival, a five-day is British flat racing festival which sees many of the world’s elite racehorses compete, marking the heritage jewellers first association with horseracing.
Buccellati, part of the RICHEMONT group, has also become the title race partner of The Buccellati Handicap Stakes at the Festival which runs from 1st-5th August.
The Duke of Richmond, Chairman of the Goodwood Group of Companies said, “Buccellati, since it was founded in 1919, has remained true to its origins in creating high quality and creative handmade jewellery. We are delighted to welcome them as the Official Jewellery Partner of Goodwood Racecourse starting with the pinnacle of our horse racing season, the Qatar Goodwood Festival.”

A bespoke silver trophy has been designed by Andrea Buccellati and will be awarded to the winning owner of the Buccellati Handicap Stakes with silver creations from the Opera Collection awarded to the winning trainer and jockey, as well as the traditional photo frame, presented to the groom of the winning horse.
In addition, Goodwood Racecourse has partnered with luxury Hungarian brand Kincsem in a multi-year deal that sees it become the official sponsor of the Owners & Trainers facility.
The deal will span all meetings at the Sussex course, starting with this week’s Qatar Goodwood Festival.
In addition, Kincsem will see its new range of luxury bags on display in the Winners Room throughout the festival and will supply its wine to guests at the Regency Ball event on Thursday 3rd August.
Tibor Bak, Founder of the Kincsem Group, said, “After 145 years, Kincsem has returned to Goodwood. Our company products, including the Kincsem Hyper GT, embody passion, performance and an ability to rewrite fundamental rules – just like the most successful mare in racing history who won the Goodwood Cup all those years ago. My vision is that, when people see our brand and products, they will feel her legacy and be inspired to be unbeaten in their fields, just as she was on the racecourse.”
The Duke of Richmond, added, “This is a very exciting partnership with a brand name very close to the heart of horse-racing. Kincsem’s luxury brand offering fits very much in line with many different aspects of Goodwood and our various events. We are very much looking forward to developing the partnership with Kincsem over the coming years and in various ways.”
