Gopro To Reward Shareable Content

GoPro has launched the GoPro Awards, a new ongoing programme that will aim to reward users for sharing their best GoPro photos, videos clips and video edits.

The programme will grant up to $5m annually to creators of content that “engages and excites”, whatever level of experience, and is encouranging their customers to participate by sharing their best moments at gopro.com/awards.

Winners will be chosen from those who share the most memorable photos, raw video clips and video edits, with prize money ranging from $500 to $5000.

Nicholas Woodman, GoPro’s founder and CEO said: “GoPro enables a global movement of self-expression that’s resulting in some of the most compelling user-generated content ever created.
