Grand National Launches #fabulousfriday

Aintree Racecourse has launched a new hashtag campaign to build up towards Ladies Day next year, with seven months to go until the Crabbie’s Grand National 2015.

#FabulousFriday has been designed to support the day by pushing out new and engaging content through @AintreeRaces every Friday, up until Ladies Day itself, on Friday 9th April.

Content will include ambassador, staff and journalist blogs; Ladies Day announcements; various competitions; fashion tips and polls; imagery from previous Ladies Days; as well as chances to give opinions and much more.

More than 150,000 people will descend on the famous three-day Festival and Aintree Racecourse will look to engage with racegoers before and during the Festival, and give people a forum to discuss one of the most famous Ladies Days in the sporting calendar.

John Baker, regional director of the Jockey Club North West, said: ‘Ladies Day at The Grand National is always one of the most stylish and fabulous days in the racing calendar and next year will be no different.’

‘We want to capture the excitement and engage with men and women, both locally and all around the UK, so we are delighted to create #FabulousFriday to help us achieve this.’

‘We are always looking for ways to engage with our customers so have created a social forum to do this. We will be offering prizes, tips, new insight into Ladies Day, sharing updates about the day and much much more.’
