With eight months to go until The 2015 Crabbie’s Grand National, Aintree Racecourse has announced a new ‘Grand National Racemaker’ programme, in a bid to find 100 people to welcome customers and direct people around the course.
As part of the search, Aintree Racecourse is looking for enthusiastic and friendly people to apply, with more than 150,000 people set to descend on the three-day festival.
John Baker, regional director of the Jockey Club North West, said: ‘The 2014 Crabbie’s Grand National was a memorable and unique three-day festival which certainly saw the feel good factor return to Aintree Racecourse.’
‘We are always looking for new ways to give the best possible customer experience and are delighted to announce the Grand National Racemaker programme for 2015.’
‘This is a fantastic new initiative and we are looking for enthusiastic, confident and helpful people who will ensure our customers enjoy a friendly welcome and have a thrilling and positive experience at Aintree Racecourse.’
‘There will be drama and excitement on a global stage and this year we plan to raise the bar even higher – I urge all people who want to be part of something special to apply now so you don’t miss out on the action!’
Candidates can send their entry to racemakers@thejockeyclub.co.uk. Applications close on Thursday 18th September at 5pm.
