David Grevemberg, CEO of the Commonwealth Games Federation, has joined the esteemed Judging Panel of the Sport Industry NextGen Awards, taking place on 27th January 2016.
Sport Industry NextGen, in partnership with Barclays, is a new initiative to identify tomorrow’s leaders, reward their potential and develop their talent.
Grevemberg, the former CEO of Glasgow 2014, joins a Judging Panel that already features the likes of Sir Keith Mills, Maggie Alphonsi, Alastair Campbell, Kate Robertson and Sophie Goldschmidt. Find out more about the Judges, and the key attribute they look for in a future leader, here.
Prior to joining Glasgow 2014, David was the executive director of sport and international federation relations at the International Paralympic Committee where he also served as sports director.

The Sport Industry NextGen Awards is offering successful participants support to better equip them for future leadership roles, including a business support package, regular professional networking opportunities and personal development and mentoring. Entries are open now.

Loughborough University London, the academic partner of the Awards has already announced a 20% scholarship towards the full tuition fee of full-time and part-time Sport Business MSc programmes for 2015 entry, available to all readers of sportindustry.biz, while Finalists and Winners will benefit from even greater opportunities from the university, which will be announced closer to the time of judging.
