Guild Esports announces Encore acquisition

UK-based esports organisation Guild Esports has completed the acquisition of Encore, a Los Angeles-based fan engagement and analytics platform.

The integration of Encore’s data-gathering capabilities, including its Fan ID protocol, will expand Guild’s ‘ability to provide strategic solutions for fan engagement and audience insights.’

Guild has described the acquisition as strengthening the company’s ‘position in the gaming sector, allowing it to offer enhanced services to esports teams, influencers, publishers, and brands.’

Guild Esports current investors include England and Manchester United legend David Beckham.
