Guinness, the Diageo-owned drinks brand, is launching a new advertising campaign that features rugby union stars Lewis Moody, Lee Byrne and Paul Sackey.

The new campaign is aimed to represent the new Guinness tagline ‘Bring it to Life’ and is due to coincide with the launch of the 2010 international rugby season.

The campaign depicts the moments that bring rugby union to life for supporters – demonstrating the player’s skills and game winning moves – and syncing them to reflect the way Guinness is poured into a glass.

The new advert will break ahead of the RBS 6 Nations, which will see England and Wales go head-to-head at Twickenham on the opening weekend of the tournament on 6th February 2010.

Fans will be able to watch the game in 3D at selected cinemas around the country thanks to an initiative by the England national team sponsors O2. It will be the first ever public screening of a live 3D sporting event in Europe.

Guinness has strong links in rugby union having sponsored the Guinness Premiership domestic competition for the last four years.
