Guinness Rolls Out £3m Sport Campaign

Beer brand Guinness is unveiling a £3m advertising push in a bid to encourage sports fans into pubs to watch rugby and football.??

The Diageo-owned brand will start the campaign with nationwide outdoor advertising at the end of this month.??

TV adverts will also accompany the campaign in September to push the brand’s sponsorship of BSkyB’s new 3D channel and will be supported with online and print advertising.??

11,000 pubs will also get rugby and football themed point-of-sale kits, which will include fixture lists for football, rugby, cricket and golf, as well as posters.
