Gullivers Set To Travel For 2013 Lions Tour
UK rugby and cricket tour operator, Gullivers Sports Travel, has been appointed as an Official Travel Agent of Lions Rugby Travel for the 2013 British & Irish Lions Tour to Australia.
The Gullivers team has organized Lions supporters’ tours since 1977.
Alister Strahan, general manager of Gullivers Sports Travel, said: ‘We have a long history with the British & Irish Lions so we are very pleased with this latest appointment which enables us to provide official fan travel and access to guaranteed match tickets.’
‘This test series is all about pride. We were there when the Lions last beat Australia in 1989 and the winning atmosphere was electric – hopefully the team will be on top form once more to give us a tournament to remember.’
Supporters will also be able to travel to see the British & Irish Lions compete against the Barbarians in Hong Kong, which will kick start the tournament.
Travel packages are expected to be announced for general sale in the near future.
