Premier League football club Arsenal has confirmed new partnerships with virtual experiences provider Jugo and consumer electronics brand TCL.

The first of the Gunners’ new deals, with Bristol-headquarters Jugo, will see the immersive experiences business create a ‘dynamic 3D environment’ for the club’s supporters.

The global partnership will focus on international fans that are unable to attend the Emirates Stadium on matchdays, by allowing them to engage with the club digitally. Jugo’s platform provides a variety of events including, memorabilia auctions, Q&A sessions, interactive screenings, and opportunities to meet players virtually.

Joseph Toma, CEO, Jugo, said, “Jugo is bringing people closer and revolutionizing the way in which leading sports teams are engaging with their global fan base.  Jugo will help Arsenal connect with global supporters by offering next-gen, immersive, digital, and player engagement events. When people feel purposeful and connected, anything is possible.”

Juliet Slot, Chief Commercial Officer, Arsenal, added, “We’re delighted to announce Jugo as our official digital events partner. By using Jugo’s cutting-edge technology, we can now offer unrivalled supporter engagement experiences, globally. Our relationship with supporters is at the heart of everything we do, and Jugo will allow us to further connect with our Arsenal family across the world.”

Arsenal has also signed a commercial partnership with TCL that will see the Chinese consumer electronics company become the club’s official regional consumer electronics partner in the UK, Middle East and Africa.

TCL will provide Arsenal supporters with exclusive club content and deals on its product ranges. Supporters will also have the opportunity to participate in competitions and games with prizes including the chance to watch live matches at Emirates Stadium as well as meet and greets with current players and legends.

Sunny Yang, General Manager TCL Middle East and Africa, said, “We are thrilled to partner with Arsenal Football Club, one of the most prestigious football clubs in the world.

“This partnership will allow us to bring our innovative and high-quality products to Arsenal’s passionate and loyal supporter base in the Middle East, Africa and the UK. Our values of progression, positivity and inspiration are aligned to those of Arsenal and we’re excited to work together to engage supporters around the world in their common love for football.”
