Harlequins Agrees Ig Sponsorship

Harlequins has announced a new partnership with financial services company IG, who join the Aviva Premiership rugby club as an official sponsor in a three-year deal.

The London-based company’s logo will be emblazoned on the sleeve of Quins’ playing shirts and training kit, as well a presence at Quins’ Twickenham Stoop stadium. The brand will also be entitled to player appearances and matchday activation opportunities.

IG will serve as the principal sponsor of the sixth annual ‘big game’, a regular season fixture held at the 82,000 seat Twickenham Stadium, which this year sees Quins take on Exeter Chiefs.

James Kendall, Quins’ commercial director said of the deal: ‘We are delighted to welcome IG to the Harlequins family, which already boasts major companies like DHL, LV= and the club’s main sponsor Etihad Airways.’

‘This is a landmark deal for Harlequins and demonstrates the club’s vision and ambition at an exciting time for rugby with the 2015 Rugby World Cup on the horizon as well as our 150th anniversary in 2016.’
