England and Bayern Munich footballer Harry Kane has become a ‘limited partner’ in TGL team Jupiter Links GC, marking his latest venture into the golf industry.
Jupiter Links GC is part of TGL, the new tech-driven golf league created by TMRW Sports which was launched by golf icons Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy in 2022, along with industry executive Mike McCarley.
The league, created in partnership with the PGA Tour, aims to blend team-based competition with virtual and in-arena elements.
Kane’s investment in the Jupiter Links GC team has followed recent backing from singer Justin Timberlake and former baseball player Mike Trout. The news has been confirmed by Jupiter Links GC via its social media channels.
Kane, who has scored 69 international goals for England, has been an active participant in the golf world, having played in high-profile pro-am events, including before the 2019 Scottish Open and the 2022 Icon Series. In October, he revealed on the Rick Shiels Golf Show that he had previously played a round of golf with Tiger Woods in the Bahamas.
Alongside Kane, Jupiter Links GC has received investment from David Blitzer, the founder of Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment, with Woods also being a co-owner of the team.
