Havas Sports has been appointed by AirAsia to manage the low-cost airline’s
sponsorship of Manchester United as well as any future sponsorship associations.
The global agency network, which recently acquired UK agency Sponsorship
Media in order to bolster its presence in this country, will work with AirAsia
to create a range of activities that build understanding and awareness of the
brand and drive sales as new routes are opened up.
AirAsia’s Manchester United partnership includes designation as an official
partner of the club and a comprehensive rights package including player
appearances, advertising, promotions and tickets/hospitality.
