Haydock Signs Betvictor Partnership

British bookmaker BetVictor has signed a deal to become the sponsor of the Rose of Lancaster Stakes, Haydock Park Racecourse’s major flat horse race during August.

The race, which carries £55,000 in prize money, will be broadcast live on Channel 4 in the UK.

BetVictor will also sponsor a handicap race on the same card, both events taking place on Saturday 11th August this year.

Dickon White, Haydock Park’s managing director, said: ‘We are delighted to have reached this agreement with BetVictor for the sponsorship of two of Haydock Park’s feature races in August.’

Charlie McCann, director of online public relations at BetVictor, added: ‘We hope it is the start of a long partnership with Haydock Park, one of the most famous and friendliest racecourses in the country.’
