H&c TV Announce Badminton Deal
Horse & Country TV, the channel devoted to horse sports and country activities, has announced that it will represent the global media distribution and sponsorship sales of the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials from 2010 to 2012.
H&C TV have secured the broadcast and online distribution for programming from the Trials in 20 international markets. This will create a global media sponsorship opportunity around the Badminton trials.
The highlights of the Trials will now be distributed to international TV outlets for free, in exchange for providing sponsor credits around all ad-breaks and before online video.
In the UK, the Trials can be seen on commercial broadcasters including H&C TV and potentially other outlets. Continuing a tradition of more than 50 years, the Badminton Trials will also be shown on the BBC.
Badminton, which takes place from April 30 to May 3 on the Duke of Beaufort’s estate in Gloucestershire, regularly attracts crowds of over 150,000.
