Heineken To Launch Digital Cl Campaign

Heineken is set to push its sponsorship of the UEFA Champions League with its largest ever online campaign.

Facebook and other social networking sites are set to feature heavily in Heineken’s digital activity that will begin before the Champions League group stage starts on 14th September.

Digital agency AKQA has been appointed to push the lager brand’s four-year association with Europe’s elite club football competition with a heavy focus on the UK market.

AKQA beat off competition from Bartle Bogle Hegarty to win the pitch.

Heineken has been a sponsor of the Champions League, won by Inter Milan last season, for the past four years.
