Heineken Renews Sunderland Sponsorship

Heineken UK has extended its sponsorship deal with Premier League club Sunderland for a further year including the naming rights for the Stadium of Light’s North Stand given to its Strongbow cider brand.


Heineken UK will continue to be the club’s exclusive supplier of beer and cider with the new 12-month deal seeing bars offering a line-up of draught beer and cider, led by Strongbow, Foster’s, Bulmers, Kronenbourg, John Smith’s and Heineken in the stadium concourses and across the club’s many hospitality, conference and events suites.


The newly named Strongbow North Stand will be decked out with a range of branded livery as Heineken seeks to push uptake of the cider amongst Sunderland supporters. 


Heineken UK continues to invest heavily in Strongbow’s advertising campaign as well as increasing experiential activity with a number of music festivals over the summer months and an exciting new digital campaign.
